England Vs Ireland Live cricket scores,Ireland Vs England Live

The England cricket team should win in the England Vs Ireland live cricket match - The England team is vastly superior to the Ireland cricket team and should win without much of a hassle

The England cricket team should use the live England Vs Ireland cricket match to help Freddie Flintoff overcome the mental anguish caused by his drinking misadventures

A truly great one day international knock by Flintoff is just a match away and the England Vs Ireland cricket match could be the best opportunity for Flintoff to show the world that he is one of cricket's great all rounders

After a very long time, an English batsman is ranked No 1 in the cricketing world, and the England Vs Ireland live cricket match is a great opportunity for Pieterson to prove once again that he is one day cricket's leading batsman. A century by Pieterson in this England Vs Ireland live cricket match will consolidate his Number 1 ranking.

Sachin Tendulkar has the last laugh

Sachin Tendulkar has scored two consecutive test centuries against the Bangladesh cricket team and hopefully quelled the anti Sachin Tendulkar brigade for some time. Sachin Tendulkar proved once again that he is after all one of the greatest test cricketers of his generation

Sachin Tendulkar does not care about the opposition or any specious arguments by the so called cricket experts.

Why is it that Sachin Tendulkar is criticized whether or not he scores against the Bangladesh cricket team. When Sachin Tendulkar failed in the World cup one dayer against the Bangladesh cricket team, the cricket critics said that Sachin failed against the Bangladesh cricket minnows.

When Sachin Tendulkar has scored two consecutive centuries against the Bangladesh cricket team, the argument is going to be that Sachin Tendulkar is taking advantage of playing minnows like the Bangladesh cricket team to further his records

What is Sachin Tendulkar supposed to do?Maybe next time Sachin Tendulkar should hit a century in one test and get bowled for zero in the second test so that he satisfies both kinds of cricket critics!

Ian Chappell's arguments for Sachin Tendulkar's retirement were weird in the first place. Ian Chappell felt that Sachin Tendulkar needed to retire from Indian test cricket simply because Sachin was not longer the best in the cricket world.

England Vs Australia Ashes cricket tour 2005

The Australian cricket team is in England for the historic England Vs Australia,Ashes tour,2005 and the tickets for the Ashes cricket tour are flying off like hot cakes!

The England Vs Australia Ashes tour 2005 in England is the most awaited cricket series of 2005. Cricket lovers in England are thronging the Ashes ticket counters hoping to see a resurgent England win in the Ashes tour 2005

The reason? The resurgent England cricket team for the Ashes tour,2005 hopes to put an end to the spate of one-sided encounters between the Australian and English cricket teams over the last few years.

What is unique about the England Vs Australia Ashes tour 2005?

For the first time, since Botham's Ashes, the England cricket team for the England Vs Australia Ashes tour,2005 has a few match winners. Flintoff is the first name that springs to our mind, but the English cricket team also has a few other match winners in their cricket team, including Vaugham, Trescothick and of course Steve Harmison

Steve Harmison is the most crucial player for England cricket team for the England Vs Australia Ashes tour,2005

There is a lot written about Andrew Flintoff's prospects  in the forthcoming England Vs Australia Ashes cricket tour,2005.

However, the real challenge for Australia comes from Harmison, especially considering Flintoff's fitness problems. Any batsman who has faced Steve Harmison and been 'bruised' by him knows that England finally has a pace bowler who can stand up to the Australian cricket team and push them onto the backfoot in the England Vs Australia Ashes tour,2005

The biggest question is regarding Harmison's accuracy in the Ashes tour,2005. The Australian bowlers are of such a high quality that England will find it extremely tough to run up high scores and the only chances for the England cricket team lie in using Harmison to get the Australian team out cheaply.

The Australian bowlers will dominate the English cricket batsmen in the England Vs Australia Ashes cricket tour,2005

The Australian bowlers, especially Shane Warne and Steve McGrath love bowling to the English cricket batsmen and based on past encounters, should not find it extremely difficult to dominate the English batsmen.

The England cricket team in the past has been mesmerised not only by classy spin bowlers such as  Shane Warne but also by mediocre turners of the ball. It has to be seen whether the new-look England cricket team in the Ashes tour,2005 is able to get their confidence going against the likes of Shane Warne, Michael Clarke and Hogg

Michael Clarke will be an important bowler for Australia for the England Vs Australia Ashes cricket tour,2005

Gamecricket.com has analysed Michael Clarke's bowling talent apart from his well-known destructive batting abilities and concluded that Michael Clarke will be a great all-rounder for Australia in the upcoming Ashes cricket series,2005.

We firmly believe that Michael Clarke is currently 'underbowled'. Of course, the Australian cricket team has a lot of truly great bowlers in Warne,Gillespie and McGrath , but Michael Clarke will be a very valuable addition to the spin department.

Sourav Ganguly was missed in CB one day series in Australia

Sourav Ganguly was really missed by the Indian cricket team in the CB cricket series. Surprised?

There is so much said about the youngsters in the Indian cricket team being responsible for the Indian cricket team's win- but did the young Indian cricket batsmen do better than Sourav 'Dada' Ganguly?

The answer is a resounding "No"- Sourav Ganguly had a batting average of over 60 in one day international cricket matches over the last year of so- but all the Indian cricket batsmen in the CB series barring Mahendra Singh Dhoni had averages of less than 50.

The only batsman who came good in the CB finals was Sourav Ganguly's erstwhile senior partner, Sachin Tendulkar

In the absence of Sourav Ganguly, there were only two opening partnerships greater than 50- both of the partnerships had the greatest one day international "senior" batsman in the world- "Senior" Sachin Tendulkar play a major role

Sourav Ganguly was treated badly by the Indian cricket selectors and Mahendra Singh Dhoni- We seem to be getting back to the bad old days, when the whims and fancies of selectors and Indian cricket captains decided the composition of the Indian cricket team

Sachin Tendulkar said it best when he said that the seniors still have a role to play and the Indian cricket team should be selected based on performance rather than whims, fancies and age

Sourav Ganguly is a better fielder than at least Suresh Raina and Munaf Patel, who let a lot of balls slip under their feet-

Sourav Ganguly is supposedly a bad fielder and thats the reason he was dropped- but compared to the leaden footed "young" fielders in the CB cricket series such as Munaf Patel and Suresh Raina, Sourav Ganguly is definitely better

Sourav Ganguly is definitely an asset to any Indian cricket team - he would have been a valuable all-rounder in the Indian cricket team, and allowed the Indian skipper to even play an additional batsman

Gary Kirsten as Indian cricket coach- insult for Indian cricket coaches

Gary Kirsten has been selected as the Indian cricket coach. This is nothing short of an open insult to all the coaches of Indian cricket

There is incredible coaching talent in India and it is a sad mockery of Indian cricket that people like Gary Kirsten are selected and great coaches like Sandeep Patil and Achrekar are in the wilderness

Gary Kirsten has no cricket coaching experience and has been selected as the Indian cricket coach but renowned coaches like Sandeep Patil who successfully coached the Kenyan cricket team to the World cup cricket semifinals are repeatedly ignored

The BCCI obviously likes Gary Kirsten for his "lack of experience"!

Gary Kirsten 's remarks indicate that he will never integrate into the Indian cricket team or understand the Indian cricket culture. Gary Kirsten has subjected the Indian secondary towns to great criticism and this will obviously not go well with most of the Indian cricket team , who come from small Indian towns

Indian cricket's scourge,Greg Chappell-An expert blame game consultant

Chappell is a "blame-game" expert. This time, Greg Chappell is blaming Yuvraj,Sachin,Sourav and every other "senior" cricketer for opposing his "royal" word

Greg Chappell will hopefully be thrown out of Indian cricket, if the BCCI is serious about "saving" Indian cricket.

Greg Chappell need not worry about his career, he can easily get a job in any industry as a "blame game" consultant. In his stint as coach of the Indian cricket team, he first blamed Saurav Ganguly, then abused the Calcutta crowds, and finally is now blaming the entire set of Indian senior cricketers such as Yuvraj,Sachin,Sourav and Sehwag

Indian cricket team may win the India Vs England cricket test series

The India Vs England test cricket series is interestingly poised, with the Indian cricket team, narrowly managing a draw in the first test match against the England cricket team

We have done our usual cricket statistical simulator analysis, featuring potential India Vs England cricket test scenarios and have concluded the following points about the India Vs England cricket test series

The Indian cricket team may win the India Vs England cricket test series 1-0

Monty Panesar will get at least one five wicket haul in the India Vs England cricket test series
Sachin Tendulkar will definitely get at least two fifties in the India Vs England cricket test series
The Indian cricket batsmen will perform progressively better and the Indian cricket bowlers will perform progressively worse in the India Vs England cricket test series

Who is Ian Chappell to tell Sachin to retire?

Every jerk in the country and outside seems to think that there is something wrong with Indian cricket and "something" needs to be done about it

The BCCI needs to avoid this precise knee jerk stupid reaction to Indian cricket

Ian Chappell is just another smart guy who says something controversial and keeps himself in the news (and gets invited by the stupid Indian media) for his "insightful" (ha!) comments.

There is nothing wrong with Sachin Tendulkar- he is playing perfectly well. Look at Sachin Tendulkar's average over the last year and you will see that Sachin Tendulkar's average is better than even Ricky Ponting's average. Surprised? You should be surprised , given the nonsense that the Indian media is feeding you

Look at the way the Australian media reacts to every Australian cricket team's loss. The Australian loss is always either blamed on the umpiring, the bad pitch or the hostile overseas crowds! The Australian cricketers can do absolutely nothing wrong

In contrast, the Indian media would criticize even a match winning innings by Sachin Tendulkar- he didn't rotate the strike , for example.

Look at Ian Chappell's criticism of Sachin Tendulkar's almost match winning double hundred against Australia- he criticizes Sachin for not using his talent, but using sheer determination and focus to score runs. The same Ian Chappell is now saying that Sachin lacks determination but has talent..Please dont listen to these so-called Gurus - including the current Australian coach of Indian cricket

Lasith Malinga- Is Malinga the next hope for Sri Lanka?

Lasith Malinga has amazed the cricketing world by taking four wickets off four balls. Lasith Malinga truly has prodigious talent and is sure to be a force for the Sri Lankan cricket team

Lasith Malinga has a sling arm action that is unique and rather funny- but is definitely not a throw. Lasith Malinga's arm definitely does not bend enough to qualify as a throw.

Lasith Malinga's sling arm action makes him really prone to injuries. Lasith Malinga is currently down with an injury for at least two weeks and may have to change his bowling action in the near future to avoid further injuries

Greg Chappell would probably have forced Lasith Malinga to change his bowling action immediately and not allowed a talent like Malinga to emerge in the first place. There is really too much coaching these days and less opportunities for genuine talents to emerge

Sachin Tendulkar should play the 2011 cricket World cup

Sachin Tendulkar has been the mainstay of the Indian cricket team for the last seventeen years. Emotionally, it hurts me when people, instigated by self-styled cricket Gurus and their various siblings, ask for Sachin Tendulkar's retirement

Sachin Tendulkar has given up so much for Indian cricket that the Indian cricket fans are just not being fair

Despite Sachin Tendulkar's past achievements,I would be the first to agree that Sachin Tendulkar should retire from Indian cricket, if there is a better player in India to replace him

The point is that there is no Indian cricket player as good as Sachin Tendulkar in the country.Arguably, Rahul Dravid is a better batsman than Sachin Tendulkar but Rahul Dravid's recent one day international cricket record is quite poor

Also,Sachin Tendulkar bowls ten overs of his medley of off spin, leg spin and medium pace in every one day international cricket match. Sachin Tendulkar, the spinner, is often a better bowler than even Anil Kumble on a turning track

In summary, for Sachin Tendulkar to be replaced, Indian cricket needs a cricketer who bats at a one day international cricket average of 43 and bowls during the opposition's slog overs

Ian Chappell's argument that Sachin Tendulkar should retire, since Brian Lara is apparently better than him, is a stupid argument. Sachin Tendulkar needs to play as long as he can contribute to Indian cricket and no better Indian cricketer can replace him

Mathew Hayden,an obnoxious big weed?

Mathew Hayden points at his own photograph and indicates that the "pineapple weed" is quite cool and has a lot of perfume to go with it. When Hayden called Harbhajan Singh a "weed", he actually wanted to say good things about him by comparing him to a perfumed "pineapple weed"

Virender Sehwag ,the best captain that the Indian cricket captain neverhad

Virender or Virendra Sehwag is the inspirational captain of the Delhi Daredevils Twenty20 cricket team in the IPL.

Sehwag probably realizes that having an incredible cricket talent is often a liability as people start questioning his attitude and his style of batting as soon as he fails in a couple of innings

As a result, Sehwag , who has a sharp cricketing brain , a never-say-die attitude and an ability to get along with his teammate is never considered for the captaincy role

Sehwag is easily the best Indian test opening batsman after Sunil Gavaskar, and given his cool demeanour will not mind never being the captain of the Indian cricket team. But the Indian cricket team would have missed having this cool technician as the Indian cricket team 's captain

Sehwag ,with his earthy commonsense and great team building skills, would have been a great Indian cricket captain

What do you need from a cricket captain? Someone you could trust, someone who could motivate you when you are down and someone who truly cares about the Indian cricket team and wants it to succeed

Sehwag, as his stint with the Delhi Daredevils cricket team shows, satisfies all the above criteria, and should be given the mantle of captaincy of the Indian cricket team before his retirement

Ricky Ponting| A disaster for Australian cricket

Ricky Ponting is recently back to Harbhajan bashing, but that doesnt exonerate his disastrous influence on Australian cricket

Apart from violating the spirit of the game, creating a new era of verbal abuse, encouraging his fellow cricketers to act like a pack of wild dogs and generally denigrating Australian cricket, Ricky Ponting hasnt done anything wrong.

One wonders what damage Ricky Ponting would do to world cricket when he is guilty of "major errors"

Malcolm Speed,ICC cricket CEO,Good Riddance

Andrew Miller, writes in Cricinfo magazine that the ousting of Malcolm Speed as ICC CEO is an admission of the factionalism in the ICC

Malcolm Speed has often be seen to be partisan and has made almost as many gaffes as Ray Mali.

Malcolm Speed may have had issues with the BCCI, but that didnt mean that he could make nasty , gloating comments about India and the inability for a country with a population of 1 billion to win the cricket World cup..

I may not be a great fan of the BCCI, but Malcolm Speed, as ICC CEO, was far worse- Malcolm Speed 's nasty comments don't exactly inspire any confidence about his leadership skills and people from the subcontinent are bound to view Malcolm Speed , as more of a representative of England & Australia cricket boards

Goodbye and good riddance to Malcolm Speed, his seven years as ICC CEO, have resulted in the ICC organization being reduced to a toothless organization, viewed with suspicion by every cricket playing country of the cricket world

Malcolm Speed,ICC cricket,Mickey Arthur so hypocritical!

Malcolm Speed , the ICC and the South Africa cricket coach Mickey Arthur are incredibly hypocritical.

Reports suggest that on the basis of Mickey Arthur's protest, the ICC, led by Malcolm Speed, has asked the BCCI for an explanation for the spinning track prepared for the Kanpur cricket test match , which ended in three days

Why is Mickey Arthur, the South African cricket coach and the ICC not asking for an explanation for the pitch for the Ahmedabad test match which also ended in three days

The fast and green Ahmedabad cricket match was simply a gift given by the pitch curators to the South African cricket team, but Mickey Arthur is simple not grateful

No country will be as stupid as to provide a cricket pitch that is favorable to the opposing cricket team, but the pitch curators at Ahmedabad managed to do just that

The Ahmedabad cricket pitch was tailor made for the South African cricket team's fast bowlers and not surprisingly, the South African cricket easily won the Ahmedabad cricket test

The ICC's comments on the pitch for the Kanpur cricket test sparks of such hypocricy- has Malcolm Speed's ICC or Mickey Arthur ever asked the Australian cricket board for an explanation for the fast cricket pitch at Perth or Centurion Park?

The ICC should be dismantled as soon as possible- the ICC 's decisions are really biased against the subcontinent

The Oval fiasco and the reinstatement of Darrell Hair is another slap in the face for the subcontinent, and it is high time the Asian cricket boards support each other in the face of such blatant bias against them

Robin Uthappa: Australians are sore losers"

In yet another interesting interview, Robin Uthappa has given interesting insights on the Australian cricketers and the Australian cricket media.

In a move that is assured to ruffle the Australian media 's "thin", he has called the Australians "sore losers"

Robin Uthappa uses the Australian cricket media's coverage of the CB cricket series finals to make his point- The Australian cricketers were beaten squarely by the Indian cricket team but the Australian cricket media only covered the cricket series results sparsely in a couple of short notes

The Australian cricket media instead focused on Harbhajan Singh again and his alleged bad behavior

Robin Uthappa suggests that the Australian cricket media was only interested in raking up unnecessary controversies and was not even sporting enough to acknowledge the fair defeat of the Australian cricket team

Any international cricketer would acnowledged the tremendous abusive behavior of the Australian cricket team, dirty comments about the players' immediate family are always on the cards when the Australian cricketers are around

Robin Uthappa suggests that he and his younger colleagues are not prepared to take the nonsense talked by the Australian players without hitting back and letting the Australian cricketers get a taste of their own medicine

Mahendra Singh Dhoni even recently underscored this when he said that his cricket team "learnt" a lot about sledging without being punished from the Australian cricket team

Allan Border praises Harbhajan Singh for restraint

Allan Border, the former Australian cricket giant, has praised Harbhajan Singh for his incredible restraint

Contrary to the reports in the Sydney Morning Herald and other sections of the Australian media, Allan Border said that he appreciated Harbhajan Singh 's restraint in the face of some really abusive behavior from the Sydney cricket spectators

Apparently, Allan Border was close to the crowd that was resorting to racist comments about Harbhajan Singh - comments about his religion and his "patka" were apparently freely being bandied out by the Sydney spectators. Sydney Morning Herald media coverage of India Vs Australia cricketseries:One sided and sickening

The Australian media especially, the Sydney Morning Herald, has been incredibly disappointing.

Its one thing to support the Australian home team, but to run fake campaigns, denigrate the opposition players and cast a blind eye to the doings of the Australian cricket payers is simply not done, at least by a leading national newspaper

By its one-sided reporting, the Sydney Morning Herald has been abusing its power. In this one-sided article about the first final of the India Vs Australia CommonWealth Bank cricket series, the hopelessly biased article talks about Harbhajan Singh 's alleged behavior, but fails to mention the abusive and racist remarks by the Sydney cricket crowd

The Sydney spectators abused Harbhajan Singh by making racist comments about Harbhajan Singh 's Sikh religion and this was not even mentioned in the article

In the cricket article, there is some mention about Pathan and Harbhajan walking down to Hayden and making some comments, but the dirty, abusive comments used by Hayden,Symonda and the rest of the Australian cricket team are not even mentioned

There is no barrier to entry for nastiness in media- what if the rest of the world cricket media behaved in the same despicable manner as the Sydney Morning Herald?

Cricket-Greg Chappell's email to his wife leaked to media?

A source close to the Indian coach has informed segments of the media that one of Greg Chappell's emails to his wife may have been leaked to the media. Some sources, close to the coach, claim that the leak of the email may be as a result of a habit of sending important confidential emails to his media friends, rather than any deliberate leak of the email to the Indian media

Who else could have leaked this email? Our sources close to the coach also point out the coach himself is unlikely to have leaked the email, since he is the epitome of sincerity. In fact, the sources suggest that a coach who has not made a single mistake in his reign as Indian cricket coach (it was always someone else's mistake) could not have made this simple blunder

In fact, this email leak could be attributed to a number of sources such as the Indian Internet services provider or certain search engine such as Google, acting in collusion with certain senior members of the Indian cricket team

Greg's brother Ian Chappell also could not be reached- per our sources close to the coach, Ian may have been busy calling for other Indian senior cricketers to retire, acting in isolation and with absolutely no prodding from the Indian cricket coach

Please take this blog post in the spirit of April Fool's day and definitely not take it seriously (despite what our sources close to the Indian cricket team say)

Allan Border mentioned that Harbhajan Singh handled himself well, in response to some really persistent abuse

The good old days of the cricket columnist is now being abused by these so-called cricket writers who are bringing decency in the cricket game to its knees

Mathew Hayden,an obnoxious big weed?

In an interesting interview, Mathew Hayden has justified his calling Harbhajan "an obnoxious little weed" by producing his own latest photograph and his new pineapple weed look

Mathew Hayden points at his own photograph and indicates that the "pineapple weed" is quite cool and has a lot of perfume to go with it. When Hayden called Harbhajan Singh a "weed", he actually wanted to say good things about him by comparing him to a perfumed "pineapple weed"

Mathew Hayden has mentioned in his recent interview that there is nothing wrong about being obnoxious, and that he is proud of being obnoxious and nasty and is probably the most obnoxious person around

Sachin Tendulkar's straight drives off Brett Lee were nothing short of cricketing perfection, as the MCG spectators were treated to almost a religious miracle- the most mesmerizing straight drives almost in the history of cricket

As you can see in the Sachin Tendulkar Vs Brett Lee video below, Sachin Tendulkar slams the ball back to the boundary with majestic power that seemed to signal that he is almost back to being the best bastman in the cricket world today

Harbhajan Singh appeal to be tried by controversial judge of New Zealand, John Hansen- a ploy by the ICC

Harbhajan Singh's appeal will be judged by John Hansen, a really controversial judge who is known to give rather "blinkered" decisions.

According to Kiwifirst, John Hansen, the New Zealand high court judge is known to make rather controversial judgements.

John Hanson has been described by this Kiwifirst website as someone who is "unable to apparently separate his personal bias and interests from his arbiter's job" and someone who is "Prone to take a blinkered approach in proceedings and in his written accounts of proceedings and rulings, providing inordinate focus on the arguments of the litigant (or counsel) he personally fancies"

Ricky Ponting lacks integrity in Sydney test match

Ricky Ponting surely lacks any semblance of integrity. The two appeals , one off Dhoni, where he claimed to have perfectly (!) taken the catch (see attached photo) and the catch by Clarke perfectly sum up his integrity or lack of it

World cup cricket final-Gilchrist secures Australian win

The Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup cricket finals will be forever remembered for Gilchrist's memorable performance. The Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup finals was reduced to a no-contest as Gilchrist brutally demolished the Sri Lankan cricket bowlers

The brutal batting by Gilchrist in the Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup finals reminded one of the great Viv Richards in the 1979 cricket finals.Gilchrist hit eight sixes in his knock of 149 as he single handedly demolished the Sri Lankan cricket team

The real contest of the World cup cricket finals in Bridgetown was the battle between Muralitharan and his quest to stop the rampaging Gilchrist

But, Gilchrist stamped his authority in the Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup cricket finals by even taking care of Muralitharan and his doosras

Gilchrist is unlike the traditional Aussie cricketer in the Australia Vs Sri Lanka World cup finals. Gilchrist believes in the gentlemanly tradition of "walking" , if he thinks he is out and doesn't really abuse the cricket opposition

Greg Chappell 's big mouth blabbers more

Greg Chappell has an expert ability to be political and hypocritical

In a recent outburst, Greg Chappell spewed more venom on his latest victims , the Indian "senior" players. Greg Chappell blamed the BCCI's selection of the "senior" players the main cause of India's defeat at the World cup cricket tournament 2007

In fact, Greg Chappell says he was sure that the Indian cricket team would lose even before the team left for the cricket World cup.So much for Greg Chappell's man management skills!

Despite Saurav Ganguly great leadership capabilities and people management capabilities, Saurav Ganguly obviously had to pay the price for recommending a snake like Greg Chappell to be Indian cricket coach and doing the Indian cricket world such as disfavor

Greg Chappell is never at fault, it is always someone else's fault for this so-called "guru". Sometimes, Greg Chappell finds the BCCI as the villain, at times it is the Indian selection panel and nowadays the flavor of the month is the Indian senior cricket players

Its absolutely wrong to classify Greg Chappell as personifying the "Australian way of playing cricket". The Australian way of playing cricket is to be open, honest and blunt in all talk and taking every decision.

West Indies Vs Bangladesh live World cup cricket match,2007

The West Indies cricket team is expected to win the West Indies Vs Bangladesh Super Eights World cup cricket match today. No doubt the West Indies cricket team is a demoralised cricket team due to the string of defeats they have suffered, but the West Indies cricket team should at least beat the Bangladesh cricket team

The West Indies cricket team is in the doldrums with Brian Lara also announcing his retirement from one day international cricket. Brian Lara may be a disappointed man, he is sure to sign off on a good note by defeating the Bangladesh cricket team

The West Indies cricket team have the ability to tackle the Bangladesh cricket spinners better than the South African cricket team.Players like Ramnaresh Sarwan and Lara can toy with the Bangladesh cricket spinners and negate the effectiveness of Razzaq and Rafique

A large score from Gayle is also due and the West Indies Vs Bangladesh live cricket match is likely to see a huge score from this power hitter

England cricket team-Ashes cricket series,2006

The England cricket team for the Ashes 2006 is a quiet reliance on the proven players of England cricket.

The England cricket team for the Ashes cricket series 2006 has been criticized by quite a few former English cricketers such as Naseer Hussain. The England cricket team for the Ashes test series against Australia includes players such as Harmison who is struggling with a serious injury.

While one appreciates the bravado of the England cricket team for the Ashes, this is undoubtedly a huge risk considering that the Ashes cricket series is of three months duration.

Many players of this England cricket team for the Ashes has spoken of using painkillers to declare themselves fit for the Ashes cricket series, but, this really doesnt give the England supporters much confidence. After all, its better to have eleven fit England cricket team players for the Ashes series rather than a team where the final playing eleven of every test match depends on the fitness test on the eve of the Ashes cricket test match

Flintoff is the key batsman, bowler and captain for the England cricket team for the Ashes,2006 cricket series! Thats too much responsibility on one single player in the England cricket team.

Flintoff's fitness is again under question- but there is really no one in the England cricket team for the Ashes who can match his talent, aggressiveness and confidence. If the England cricket team are to do well in the Ashes cricket series in Australia, they need other players such as Harmison and Pieterson, who were the heroes of the last Ashes cricket series, to play exceptionally well

Michael Holding, why Michael Holding was the silent assassin of cricket

Michael Holding did Jamaica and the West Indies cricket team proud by his incredible bowling performances in test cricket.

Here is a tribute to Michael Holding, who was easily the bowler with the best bowling action in world test cricket ever.

Michael Holding had a silky bowling action that suggested that Michael Holding was just a medium pacer of the Mohinder Amarnath variety. But Michael Holding was able to generate such incredible pace without apparently expending any effort

Michael Holding's incredible bowling action also enabled to play test cricket for such a long time without any of those injuries that current fast bowlers always seem striken with

Michael Holding's smooth bowling action has no comparison, the only other cricket bowler whose action came reasonably close was that of "nice guy" Courtney Walsh, who probably used his Jamaican association to learn a few bowling tricks of the trade from Michael Holding

Michael Holding makes Geoff Boycott hop, fish and finally lets him out of his agony by getting his wicket in this incredible bowling performance against the most dodgy of cricket batsmen

Preview- asia cup cricket series tournament

Preview of the Asia cup cricket series

Popular notion for the Asia cup cricket series tournament

The popular notion is that India start as strong favorites for the Asia cup cricket series tournament.

Our prediction for the Asia cup cricket series tournament- Sri Lanka mild favorites

At gamecricket.com, we come up with previews and predictions based on the basis of strong statistical research and  not on media hype. Based on our statistical research of the teams for the Asia cup cricket series, we conclude that Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka teams have an almost  equal chance of winning the Asia cup cricket series- with the Sri Lankan team being slight favorites.

Pakistan- can surprise many by pulling off the Asia cup cricket series

The Pakistan team  is definitely not to be underestimated in the Asia cup cricket series,as the presence of a match winner in Shoiab Akthar is sure to ensure that the Pakistani team stand an excellent chance of winning the series.Inzamam and Yousof Youhana are among the best batsmen in the world as they showed during the India Vs Pakistan one-day series. To be honest, the Pakistan cricket team is among the most balanced in the world with the right combination of bowlers and batsmen, but surprisingly do not seem to win many cricket tournaments. Perhaps the only real factor against the Pakistani team prospects for the Asia cup cricket series is the the lack of a truly great spinner

Indian cricket team - have a good chance in the Asia cup cricket series tournament but definitely not outright favorites

The Indian cricket team  have a good chance, but are definitely not outright favorites to win the Asia  cup cricket series tournament. Contrary to media speculation on the Indian team for the Asia cup cricket series tournament,we think the team selection was definitely not correct. Based on form and fitness factors, the India cricket team should have selected one more spinner and a hitter such as Ramesh Powar. Harbhajan needs to be gradually got back to the team and not selected for key matches as he is just recovering from his injuries. Also, the Indian team for the Asia cup cricket series tournament seems to be have one pace bowler too many for the pitches of the subcontinent where the groundstaff usually seem to have a long-standing grudge against medium pace bowlers.

Having said that,an Indian team with Dravid, Sachin,Laxman  and Sehwag can never be written off and  still stand a decent chance of winning the Asia cup cricket series.

Monty Panesar Vs Sachin Tendulkar cricket video and incredible celebration

Monty Panesar dismissed Sachin Tendulkar in the Lords first Test between the Indian and England cricket teams. Monty Panesar bowled another of his "Once in a blue moon" arm balls to get Sachin Tendulkar out "lbw" again.

Monty Panesar may claim Sachin Tendulkar as his bunny. Sachin Tendulkar does appear extremely uncomfortable against Monty Panesar's left arm spin. Monty Panesar typically bowls an incredible line to Sachin Tendulkar

Sachin Tendulkar is of course giving Monty Panesar more respect than Monty deserves from a batsman with 37 centuries to his name.Sachin Tendulkar's best option to counter Monty Panesar is to give Monty Panesar the Adam Gilchrist treatment.

Bangladesh Vs New Zealand,New Zealand Vs Bangladesh live cricket scores, World cup cricket,2007

The Bangladesh Vs New Zealand live Super Eights cricket match at Antigua,West Indies is a real challenge for the Bangladesh cricket team fighting to relieve itself of the minnows tag.

The Bangladesh cricket team faces the challenge of a resurgent New Zealand cricket team which hopes to easily pocket two points from this Bangladesh Vs New Zealand live cricket match at Antigua

The Bangladesh Vs New Zealand live cricket match will be a non-event unless Razzaq and Rafique can spin some magic. Razzaq and Rafique are the key bowlers of the Bangladesh cricket team and captain Habibul Bashar will do well to use spinners for 30 out of the 50 overs in the Bangladesh Vs New Zealand live cricket match.

In the initial overs of the Bangladesh Vs New Zealand Super Eights World cup cricket match,Bangladesh will have to be wary of Shane Bond.

Shane Bond will hope to destroy the Bangladesh cricket innings within the first few overs and Bangladesh need to have a slow measured start against New Zealand and accelerate after Shane Bond's spell.

Unlike some of the other cricket teams in the World cup cricket tournament, the New Zealand cricket team is unlikely to come under any kind of pressure in the cricket World cup.

Considering that the New Zealand cricket team under Fleming is cool-headed and disciplined, the Bangladesh Vs New Zealand live World cup cricket match is unlikely to cause the New Zealand cricket team a jangle of nerves at the thought of an upset.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni- The next Sachin Tendulkar?

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is already the best Indian wicketkeeper batsman ever. Mahendra Singh Dhoni could
turn it around and become one of India's great batsmen ever

The only reason Mahendra Singh Dhoni is batting at number 7 is that wicketkeepers usually bat at number 7. :-)
Its stupid that Mahendra Singh Dhoni, a match winner is batting late in the batting order. The earlier self-styled "Guru" coach of the
Indian cricket team,Mr. Greg Chappell, was really underutilizing Dhoni's potential

If Mahendra Singh Dhoni is really among the top ten batsmen in the world, Dhoni should bat up the order,at number 3.

Players with raw talent like Mahendra Singh Dhoni need the support of the Indian cricket coach and captain.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been underutilized so far in his career and needs to be given ample opportunities so that he can play
to his potential

The Indian cricket fan expects Mahendra Singh Dhoni to hit a century in every match and a six of every ball.

As Sachin Tendulkar has found out, much to his chagrin, one failure in an important match can wipe off all of Mahendra Singh Dhoni's greatest
achievements

The Cricket Astrologer Blog-One day cricket game predictions of all world cricket teams

Ajantha Mendis has suddenly burst into the world cricket scene through his mesmerizing display of spin bowlers against the Indian cricket team. Ajantha Mendis is however more similar to Anil Kumble than his idol, Muthiah Muralitharan

Ajantha Mendis is not a typical spinner like Muralitharan or Shane Warne but relies on his incredible accuracy to always be a threat to a batsman, irrespective of whether the batsman is batting on 0 or on 176.

Like Anil Kumble, Ajantha Mendis relies on his subtle changes of pace, direction and length to fox the batsmen

There are huge expectations from Ajantha Mendis among Sri Lankan cricket fans and cricket enthusiasts such as myself. Its only once in a generation that a classy spinner emerges

Recently, there have been fears that there wouldnt be any near term replacements to Muralitharan, Shane Warne and Anil Kumble

If Ajantha Mendis does well in this test cricket series against the touring Indian cricketers, his future is almost assured, since the Indian cricketers are reputed to be such great players of spin bowling

Allan Border mentioned that Harbhajan Singh handled himself well, in response to some really persistent abuse

Ishant Sharma giving Ricky Ponting a hard time

Ishant Sharma, India's latest cricket sensation has been troubling Ricky Ponting in the India Vs Australia test and one day international cricket series

Ishant Sharma has the ability to bounce the ball off almost good length- and that has ensured that Ishant Sharma has troubled all the Australian cricket batsmen including Ricky Ponting in this India Vs Australia test and one day cricket series

In this cricket video excerpt from the India Vs Australia cricket test match at Sydney,Ishant Sharma gives Ricky Ponting a torrid time and ultimately even grabs Ricky Ponting's wicket

Sachin Tendulkar Vs Brett Lee video- See God in action

If you ever doubted that God existed, you should see this Sachin Tendulkar Vs Brett Lee cricket video. Sachin Tendulkar hit three amazing boundaries off Brett Lee including two breathtaking straight drives that scorched the MCG

As Prem Panicker writes in Rediff.com, Ricky Ponting should be banned until Ricky Ponting improves his behavior

Mr. Rajan Bala, do you hate Indian cricket?

Mr.Rajan Bala, do you support India or "Greg Chappell"?. I understand that Mr. Greg Chappell is a close buddy of yours and has supported your journalist career by leaking information about Indian cricket at the right time and giving you "juicy" insights into the Indian cricket team

But hey, you seem to be supporting a self-styled "Guru", who has systematically destroyed Indian cricket and criticizing the Indian cricketers who are heart-broken that their country has not qualified for the cricket World cup

To be fair to Greg Chappell,Greg Chappell has not deliberately destroyed Indian cricket. Greg Chappell just seems to be incompetent and amazingly has no repentence for his stupid experiments with the Indian cricket team.Greg Chappell's experiments meant that no one in the Indian cricket team was ever aware of his presence in the team and definitely not his batting position
